Murder By Midnight

Back in 2007 Jamie, Tamsyn, Reece, Ryan and Tom embarked on an ambitious journey to make a serious film.
There was much talk and discussion as to whether the team could pull it off after such a great era with Swinging in the Sauna, and whether Jamie and Tamsyn could actually stop giggling for even a second. But a script was written, costumes were bought and a movie was made.

Murder By Midnight is a noir stlye 1940's mystery about a rich man being murdered. There are a variety of suspects.

Suspect number 1: Jennifer Dawn
Jennifer is the victim's wife, twenty years his junior and having an affair with Richard Jones. She plans to run off with him and start a new life.

Suspect number 2: Paula Harriet
Paula is Jennifer's sister and married to Edward Harriet, she cares deeply about her sister and was also at the scene of the murder.

Suspect number 3: Edward Harriet
Edward is married to Paula and is the owner of a failing bank. He was also at the scene of the murder.

Suspect number 4 Richard Jones
Richard Jones is a successful conman and gambler, having an affair with Jennifer and also present at the scene of the murder.

WHO WAS IT?
You'd have to watch the movie and see....

So, through the entirety of the movie we actually look very battered and run down and a little bit ugly due to the fact that we filmed most of the movie in one whole day and kind of got a bit tired. But it's still great. The filming, music, good ol' smoky atmosphere and the film in general is awesome.

On the disc there are also a few perks, there is an alternative scene, interpretive grief dance by jamie and tamsyn as well as goofs, a trailer, a commentary and a short film by Jam and Tam called 'Just clowning around'- a vivid thriller about an evil killing clown. Pure comedy mixed with thriller at it's greatest.

Alfred Hitchcock the master of suspense himself said: "Murder by Midnight kept me on the edge of my seat the whole entire time! Honestly! Honestly! Honestly! Honestly it did."- he is a very honest man.

And now some words from Sark, her majesty:

"May words dance as your life dances, may you allow the mysteries to swirl and encourage you, love Sark"

If you know what the above quote means, do tell.

Be juicier each day!

Succulent and Sweet.

"Succulent and Sweet" lyrics by the Slightly Giddy Wattles.

I invite you to travel along with me. As I share my stumblings and discoveries. My journey is full of fear and pain, bad luck and change. Let go of fears, speak respectively. Spend your intimate time with woman.
You are succulent, you are sweet. The juiciest woman we'll ever meet. You are succulent, yeh you are sw
eet. The wildest woman, a little old treat.

(Rap) Yo, a woman of any age who feels free to fully express herself in every dimension of her life, Stand firm and hold as a woman. You are precious and irreplaceable. Treasure your female self, Choose innocence. Invent ways to feel more free. Free to investigate your darknesses, darknesses.

You are succulent, you are sweet. The juiciest woman we'll ever meet. Yeh you are succulent, you are sweet. The wildest woman, a little old treat. =]

Inspired and quoted from Sarks incredible and life changing book "Succulent wild woman..Dancing with your wonderful self." We dedicate this to Sark and her snail. =]

Band Members:
Tamsyn Burness: Lead Vocals, Harmonicast
Jamie O'Connell: Backing Vocals, Special Sound Effects
Reece O'Connell: Guitarist

And a spe
cial mention to our photographer Ryan O'Connell who does extraordinary work with the camera and is an expert in his field of work. =]

*And now a few random words from Sark herself..

"Plant impossible gardens. Look forward to dreams. Cry during movies. Swing as high as you can on a swing set, by moonlight. Cultivate moods. Do it for love. Take lots of naps. Take moon baths. Giggle with children. Listen to old people. Drive away fear. Play with everything. Entertain your inner child. Build a forth with blankets. Get wet. Hug trees. Write love letters.

Very deep and heart wrenching words there. I should say that all of us begin to attempt such wisdom and happiness. It would make life a much more beautiful and serene place to live in.

Stay Juicy.

Love T&J

'Off Duty' lyrics by the Slightly Giddy Wattles

Hung my uniform,
I'm off, I'm off duty,
Sometimes the moonlight tribes they scream (Aaaaaah)
Wish I was a fern, looked after, green
Slow flowers fill the forest days

Come home, come back to where we are,
it's too late, to erase the angry scar,
Work is a death hole, everyday,
Off duty takes me away,
and it makes me gay,
(in a happpppy way)

Now some may ask what does this song actually mean?
Well, you silly ol' man. It's truly beautiful. It's about the bell ringing for the end of the day, your shift ending, just being off duty, in a fantasy place, where work doesn't get to you. Get it man? Get it dude? You feel it.

It's the kind of succulence inspired by Sark, where you just let life go, and be juicy, you radiant button of a person.

Call Sark's infoline if you want to hear her sing, or if you want to hear her give you a purple pen blessing. Yes, yes indeed.

NOW: a quote from Sark

"I begin and end my days by hugging myself 5-10 minutes at a time" and shouting out loud "I'm just so in love with myself"

What a truly inspiring idea. Go now, go forth and hug thyselfs. yes. embrace the embrace....

Be Juicy,

Swinging In The Sauna

A 2006 enlightening musical comedy that follows the journey of three young girls who travel through time via a magical sauna.

The girls travel to meet some of rock's greatest legends such as Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Elton John, The Beatles, The Beegees, Bon Jovi and the Spice Girls. Yes, you heard me, the Spice Girls.

(Jamie O'Connell as Elton John, Katie O'Connell as Johnny Cash, Tamsyn Burness as Elvis Presley)

Starring Jamie O'Connell as Angel, Coco, Elton John, Paul McArtney, David Bryan and a Beegee, Katie O'Connell as Brittany, Judith, Johnny Cash, John Lennon, Richie Sambora, and A Beegee and Tamsyn Burness as Summer, Priscilla, Elvis Presley, George Harrison, Jon Bon Jovi himself and a Beegee, the casting is purely confusing. BUT IT WORKS! Yes it does. Highly colorful and exuberant costumes, make following the character changes easy and fun. And wow oh wow does it really show off the actress's versatility and acting abilities? My oh my yes it does.
Filmed and edited painfully by Reece and Ryan, Swinging in the Sauna features some of the latest cinematic and filmic techniques, that were very unique back in 2006. It also features an ol' lightning bolt and some earthquakes, risky stuff, but it works.

(Poor old Angel being struck by lightning for the fifth time. We're suprised she survived.)

You should watch this movie. If we had a link for it, you should have really clicked on it and watched it, would you have? There's a thrilling twist at the end too.

(Well you can tell by the way I use my walk, I'm a woman's man, no time to talk)

The movie explores such themes as friendship and faithfulness and fun. Yes. And the acting is purely and truly lovely. Really it is. Very unique. Heard of 'Hot Tub Time Machine' that was released this year? Really who are they trying to kid, they obviously stole this idea off of us. Sauna/ hot tub? Same thing! Only ours was made 4 years earlier on a $0 budget. Shame we didn't have enough money for copyright at the age of 14/15

(Shake it baby)

Here's what people thought of Swinging in the Sauna:

"A beautiful and inspiring piece which embraced the true essence of freedom," Nelson Mandela.

"The way I was portrayed was down to a tee, Jamie O'Connell is a legend"- Elton John

"Like rocking out at a real Bon Jovi concert"- Richie Sambora

"Life is like a pink cupcake, nobody knows why it is the way it is."- Anon

"This movie embodies the essence of succulence"- Sark.

And before we go, we'd like to analyse one quote from Sark:

"Eat mangoes naked and lick the juice off your arms"-
well that really speaks for itself doesn't it? She's an old nutjob. But a wise and tremendous one at that.

Keep up the Juicyness,

The Story of how we Found Succulence (Where it all began)

(An excerpt from 'Succulent Wild Women', outlining some practical advice for women, suggesting them to 'bathe naked by moonlight', 'buy themselves flowers' and to shout 'im here im succulent and i'm loud." Breathtaking stuff really)

So, some of you may be wondering, why this amazement with Sark and her book? Well, we are going to let you in on the story of how we found Sark, really it was pure destiny, and now it is our mission to spread the juicyness.

One day Jam and Tam at the tender ages of around 15 decided to go shopping, bored and lacking in complete succulence. They shopped and shopped and had a pretty swell time.

(Jam and Tam having a swell time)

And then they decided to catch the bus back home, both living in Connolly. So unsure of the bus system, they didn't know which bus to get on.
Bus driver: Where do you live.
Girls (confidently): Shenton.

Meanwhile the idiots live on Hodges drive. (great work)

But you know what, it was destiny.

So anyway, the bus trip was delightful, except it took us to the wrong place and we had to embark on a treachorous journey back home. A long trek through the highway beside passing cars and through trees and bushes.
We were absolutely battered, exhausted I tell you.

But as we're walking, along the main road, with cars passing by and beeping at us, we stumble across a book. A book that looks just magical. It is full of colours and it's pretty big. On the inside it says "Succulent: ripe. Juicy. Whole. Round. Exuberant. Wild. Rich. Wide. Deep. Firm. Rare. Female."

But most interestingly, written on the first page in an array of colours is a message.

Here is an excerpt of what the message said

' To my beautiful Charlene,
life is such a wonderful thing...blah blah blah Life shouldn't be hard even though sometimes it is....
It's hard to see past the fog but im there with you! I hope this book will help you realise how special you really are and what you are capable of, simply because you are part of a flobal club of the most glorious and gracious creatures on earth, WOMEN."

"Interesting," we thought to ourselves.

(Us delighted at finding the book)

T: Look at this book, woah what is it.
J: What does Succulent mean?
T: Charlene. I wonder who Charlene is.
J: I wonder how this book got here. It's a sign it's destiny.

So, did Charlene treasure the book so much that she flung it out of her speeding car window? or had she been fulfilled and was passing it on to the next person who needed it? But who ever walks along the side of the main road in the bushes?

Anyway, Jam and Tam went back to Jam's house and then hid the book in a nearby bush for fear of someone finding it and because some of the contents seemed quite risky to be found with.
But they later went to a nearby sauna and read the wisdom. And that is the story of the destiny of us finding the book.

Now some daily wisdom from a random page... *flicks through pages*
"There are so many succulent ways to connect with women. We are all craving unusual, inspiring soulful times." - Oh indeed.

Be juicy.

Welcome

Welcome one and all to the uplifting and inspiring wis
dom and journeys of the Succulent wild sisters and
the Slightly Giddy Wattles.
We have quite a story to tell. All our analogies and life wisdom which we will pass on here in this blog have been inspired by the feminine lessons of the book 'Succulent Wild Woman', by Sark.

For those of you who haven't read the book, you are missing out on the joy of life, because it really is an ol' treasure. It's a little ol' treat indeed. Who wouldn't want to learn how to dance with your wonderfull self?
Furthermore who wouldn't want to learn from a woman who poses next to a snail?

Can't you see the wisdom in her smile? The snail is just soaking it up.
In a brief interview with the snail backstage after the shoot he said 'that woman, sark, she really is a treasure.'- how delightful of him.

Now Jam and Tam your succulent sisters will keep you updated on wisdom and quotes from Sark and inspiring lyrics from their band 'The Slightly Giddy Wattles" who have seen many number one hits such as 'Succulent and Sweet', 'Water Down Your Soul' (in their heavy metal era), "Uisce", "See you in the Next life," (which was purely delightful) and "Off Duty". They will also keep you updated on some of the beautiful things they have learnt in life whilst being juicy or succulent woman as Sark encourages such as picnics in roundabouts, taking photos with llamas and eating pizzas at train stations, just those beautiful moments that help keep you juicy. They will also keep you updated and share some news on the movies they have made which release the wisdom of Sark.

But before we go, we'd like to analyse on quote from Sark found in the above mentioned book...

"If life's unfair, wash her hair." Sark in her book of magnificence suggests that if one of you are feeling down, ask one of your girlfriend's to wash your hair, or go and wash one of your friend's hair. What more could you want at the end of a depressing day than your friend to come and wash your hair for you? Well I know us two may prefer some M&M's. But the wisdom of Sark is treasurable.

Until next time, be Juicy.
